What a fun and exciting night celebrating National Night Out was with Sixth Mount Zion Baptist Church, the Upsilon Nu Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Historic Jackson Ward neighbors, old friends as well as new, the Richmond Police Department, VCU Police and our council person, Kim Gray. There was a bonanza of barbecued chicken, ribs, hamburgers, and hot dogs with chips, drinks and watermelon as well as sherbet, cotton candy, and fresh popped popcorn. And the children certainly enjoyed all of the bouncy houses where they could bounce, play basket ball, slide, and have an all around fantastic time together. We certainly did it up right in Historic Jackson Ward this year and are so grateful to all who made this event possible.
