volunteers from both groups, the evening was a huge success! There were horses, a DJ, hoola hoops, bubbles, sidewalk art,
Richmond Public Library children's activities, information tables, games, dancing, food, freebies, moon bounce, inflatables, dunking machine, and more.

So many folks were involved in getting National Night Out together this year that it would be almost impossible to thank them all here, but special thanks to the National Night Out Committee members & volunteers from Sixth Mount Zion Baptist Church and HJWA, Bob Wheatley and Steve Hennessee for dragging the grill all the way over to the park and back and for cooking in that heat, Larry Forrest for weed eating, cooking, and trashcans, Clean & Safe, Geraldine Mills for all those onions, and Donna Alleyne for being wherever she was needed whenever she was needed throughout the event. Thank you as well to Max and Victor for their help with the watermelon and to Sharon, Marilyn, and Roi for helping to clean up afterwards. Sincere thanks to Mr. Lee of Choe's Market for his donation of food, ice and drinks, Kelvin Hansen for the loan of his grill and Tripp Longest for the flyer printing.
